Squid Game themed website with two web based elimination rounds: Green Light Red Light (face detection movement) and Paper Candy. 300+ registered participants.
Squid Game themed website for an online college event with 300+ registered participants. The event ran four elimination rounds, two playable on the website and two hosted live on Google Meet.
Round 1, Green Light Red Light, used Three.js for the doll and Pico.js for face detection, so players had to physically stay still when the doll turned. Opening the developer console flagged the player as cheating and triggered disqualification. Round 2, Paper Candy, assigned each player a random shape (Heart, Crescent, Umbrella, or Star) to cut out and submit.
The site was deployed on an AWS t2.micro instance with Gunicorn, Nginx, and Supervisor, served over SSL on a subdomain.
