Illuminate Investing is a values based investing app built in React Native. The idea is to invest in what you stand for: it builds fossil fuel free portfolios that screen out weapons, prisons, and vices, and lets you put money toward the companies and themes you care about. You can start with as little as $20, answer a short questionnaire about your goals and risk tolerance, and the app builds a portfolio for you. It also gives you shareholder voting power, so the companies you own hear your voice on proposals.
Built as an app developer working on the product. I worked on the React Native app: the home dashboard, the portfolio building and allocation flow, the risk questionnaire chat, the sustainable companies and themed funds browsing, and the shareholder voting screens. The app is live on both the App Store and Google Play.
